One for Jaipur Shawl
This design was created for Rowan Tree Travel - 2025 Textiles & Treasures of India, Jaipur Edition.
A simple knit-while-you-travel project for the participants of this trip while they explored some of the northern cities of India.
It is an asymmetric wrap worked in one piece. The design uses simple garter stitch bands interspersed with lace rows to create a breezy wrap.
Finished Measurements: Length: 67” (170cm), depth: 18.5” (47cm).
Yarn: Muezart‘s Natural Dyed Eri Silk, Light Fingering Yarn 15/3 (100% Eri Silk, 450y / 410m, 100g).
Colourway Annatto Orange
Needles: US size 4 (3.5mm) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 18 sts and 36 rows = 4” (10cm) in garter st, after blocking.
