Autumn Jumper

Designed for the Hobbii Autumn campaign in 2025 and chosen as one of their Pattern Plus patterns the Autumn Jumper is named after its beautiful colours

Working from the top down in the round you will create a double roll top neckline followed by a colourwork patterned yoke that then splits into body and sleeves. The body is finished with a repeat of one of the yoke patterns. The sleeves, picked up from the yoke are knitted in the round and end with another repeat of a pattern to compliment the yoke.

Materials

Double knit (8ply) yarn, I have used Hobbii Highland Wool which is 100% wool in 50g balls of 175 meters/192 yards each

Yarn A between 635 meters / 690 yards and 1335 meters / 1455 yards

Yarn B between 185 meters / 200 yards and 385 meters / 420 yards

3.5mm (US 4) 30cm / 12 inch and 60cm / 27.5 inch circular needle OR 80cm / 32inch circular needle for sizes 7 to 9

4mm (US 6) 30cm / 12 inch and 60cm / 27.5 inch circular needle OR 80cm / 32inch circular needle for sizes 7 to 9

Either five 3.5mm (US4) and 4mm (US 6) double pointed needles or a small circular needle for sleeves

Two stitch holders or lengths of yarn for the sleeve stitches

One moveable stitch markers needle for sewing up and scissors

Finished sizes

Chest - between 82cm / 32.5 inches and 138cm / 54.5 inches

Back - between 58cm / 23 inches and 81cm / 32 inches
