Primary One Math (Grade 1) - Number 0 to 10

Adopting thematic approach towards learning 0 to 10.  Provide a basic concrete framework for student to learn in class or home.  Using images and icons to reinforce learning.  

In this guide book, student should be recognise the numbers from zero to ten.  The Objective are as following:

• Count the number of objects
• Know the sequence of numbers in both directions
• Recognise, read and write numbers in words
• Count from 1 to 10 in running order and backwards from 10 to 1
• Understand the different phrases for comparing numbers
• Compare 2 numbers using "as many as", "more than", "greater than", "less than" , "fewer than".
• Comare 3 or more numbers using "greatest" and "smallest".
• Compare number in terms of their difference.

Hand-on activities and resources are provided in this book to equip teacher or parent in addressing teaching and learning needs.  Group work and open-ended questions to encourage further exploration and in-dept thinking among the students.

This book is both an instructional and practical package written according to Singapore Math curriculum.
