Full description

For hostel owners and managers who host volunteers in exchange for a bed and meals, or plan to start. The kit sets clear limits on hours, rest and supervision, gives each volunteer a written role and agreement, and turns daily work into printable checklists. A legal check comes first, because in some places a work-exchange arrangement counts as employment. You edit the bracketed fields, keep the roles you need and print the forms.

Save with a bundle: this template is also in the Alternative Lodging Bundle, 10 templates for $29 instead of $74. All 141 templates are in the All-Access Hospitality Template Library for $79.

How it works

  1. Answer the legal and insurance check for your location first.
  2. Edit the policy and the terms table. Replace every [bracketed] field.
  3. Send the role description, terms and agreement with each offer.
  4. Use the onboarding checklist on day 1 and the shift checklists every day.
  5. Hold a weekly check-in and complete the exit form and departure checklist at the end.
