In this workout program, we will focus on toning up muscles and torching away body fat through circuit training techniques and incorporating excess post oxygen consumption (EPOC) techniques. The science behind this plan lies in the fact that fat is broken down through a chemical process called oxidation. For this to occur, increased oxygen intake is needed.

Studies have shown that training styles, such as the kind used in this program, increase the oxygen consumption of your body in the hours after the exercise has been done, allowing your body to use fat as its primary fuel source during and long after the workout is done. This differs from other exercises, such as running on the treadmill, because your body can burn more muscle tissue for energy rather than fat if you don’t die of boredom before then! Our workout will not only attack fat but will sculpt, work and tone the muscles as well!
