This is a pattern for a knitted sheep toy worked using the Fair-Isle knitting technique. It is worked in-the-round and in 9 pieces (body, head, 4 feet, tail, and 2 ears).

yarn:
McKenzie by, Imperial Yarn
(Imperial Yarns Are Made of 100% Sustainably Harvested American Grown Fiber, Climate Beneficial Certified)
Fingering / 4 ply; 100% Wool; 220yds (201m) / 57 grams
approximate yarn amounts:
MC (Black) - 270yds/247m
CC1 (Robin Egg Blue) - 70yds/65m
CC2 (Cornflower) - 70yds/65m
CC3 (Sherbert) - 70yds/65m
CC4 (Canary) - 70yds/65m
needles:
2.0mm (us no 0) DPNs set of 5, 6in/15cm and circular for body
2.5mm (us no 1.5) DPNs set of 5, 6in/15cm and circular for body
or needles to achieve a relatively tight fabric after blocking and near gauge
gauge:
8.5 sts x 8.5 rows = 1in/2.5cm on 2.5mm needles over stranded stockinette (before blocking)
8.5 sts x 10 rows = 1in/2.5cm on 2.0mm needles over single-colour stockinette
Gauge is not hugely important, but will affect the height vs width of your toy. Change needles, as needed, to keep gauge throughout.
approximate finished size:
13in/33cm (long) x 8.5in/21.5cm (height)
additional tools:
needle to weave in ends, st markers, st holders/waste yarn, 2 buttons for eyes and yarn or floss to embroider nose, stuffing
