Oscillate

Oscillate, reminiscent of oscillating waves, is an asymmetrical triangular-shaped shawl consisting of a simple lace pattern with garter ridges interspersed.

Pattern instructions are both written and charted.

SIZE

One size:

72” along neckline by 41” at deepest point

GAUGE

22 sts by 38 rows = 4” in Pattern Stitch before blocking

17 sts by 30 rows = 4” in Pattern Stitch after blocking

YARN

One skein of Marianated Yarns’ Practicality (75% superwash merino/25% nylon, 463 yds/100 g) in Bayou Blue (MC) and one set of Marianated Yarns’ Sheldon’s & Missy’s Snowflakes at Sunset 2022 Advent Calendar (75% superwash merino/25% nylon, twenty-four skeins, 46 yds/skein) in Kaleidoscope Dusk (CCs 1 through 24).

460 yards for MC and twenty-four CCs, 45 yds each in equivalent fingering weight yarn

(This shawl also lends itself to using up those leftover skeins of fingering weight yarn.)
