Wavetable is one of the designs published in Pom Pom Quarterly No. 39 - The Rhythm Issue, and is my interpretation of the ebb and flow of music.

Wavetable is a drop shoulder pullover worked bottom up and in the round to the underarms. The back and front are then worked flat and shoulder stitches are cast off using the 3-needle cast-off. The sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked down in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck for a neckband.
A small section of the body and sleeves is worked in twisted rib, with a purl band separating the Stocking stitch from the ribbed stitches.
For the body, the number of twisted stitches keeps decreasing as the work progresses towards the armhole, forming a triangle of twisted stitches and motifs. For the sleeve, the number of twisted stitches keeps increasing towards the sleeve cuff.
