I don’t have time to do a Patreon page, but I do put a lot of good stuff out there!

Jamie, my glorious intern, receives a small (actually tiny) stipend because no one should have to work for free, even if they are learning.

I regularly give away a seat in classes to someone who can’t afford them, but contacts me with a reasonable request (please email me, but don’t whine!)

General Support Information

Any money that comes into Jill Wolcott Knits goes into supporting what I do. I constantly dip into my personal funds to support what I do. Funds coming in allow me to continue to support Jamie, pay my knitters, and spend my time doing what I do best.  Lack of money often distracts from my real goals.

I want to create patterns, working on sizing, find new ways to communicate and teach, and write.

Most of my yarn needs are supported by yarn companies.  They are so generous that when I ask, they usually give it to me.  I bought some yarn during 2020-2021 because I didn’t feel it was fair to ask for too much.  Anzula Luxury Fibers and Elemental Affects constantly provide yarn support so I can create delicious things. I try to use every ounce of fiber that comes in here and be a good steward of their generosity.

I looked at 2021 and the Sizing Tables were downloaded 114 times from JillWolcottKnits.com and 10 times on Payhip (where those outside of North America can get downloads).
