Color Scheme - Sefton Daly (Composer's own performance!)
Midi Reperformance.
This is an exceptionally rare and rather unknown tune by Australian pianist Sefton Daly. This piece was written in the 1940s and there exists a single recording of Daly playing it which I transcribed here. The tune is aptly named, the harmony and phrasing are very impressionistic, and frankly my favorite parts of this tune are the conclusions to the strains ending on 6th chords.
I'll warn right now that there are some bass notes missing however they are nearly completely inaudible in the recording if not straight up missing so the effect is essentially the same.
