Kingfisher foundation paper piecing pattern

I made this kingfisher paper piecing pattern as a gift for my mum and I'm sharing here so you can also enjoy creating your own version. I've stuck with the traditional kingfisher colours but I'd love to see what you come up with, use the tag #EtiveAndCo on Instagram to share your creations!

This kingfisher pattern contains lots of small segments so is great for an intermediate to advanced paper-piecer. The pattern will produce a 30x30cm block (about 11.75 inches) which could be used as part of a larger quilt or as a tabletopper or placemat. The PDF also includes instructions to scale-up the pattern to make a quilt of any size.

This PDF download includes:

❤ Printable pieces
❤ Tips for sewing the pieces and directions to piece the sections
❤ A diagram for planning your colour scheme
❤ Instructions to scale-up the pattern to create a larger quilt

The pattern does not include instructions on how to paper piece. There are loads of great quilting resources online where you can learn to paper piece.

If you have any questions about the pattern please feel free to contact me.

I loved making this kingfisher, I hope you do to!
