Muddy Roads - Mandolin Video Lesson

This is a 25 minute video lesson with 2 MP3 backing tracks and a PDF with the tablature and standard notation. The lesson teaches 2 versions of the old time fiddle tune Muddy Roads which I learn hanging around backstage with Doc Watson. Our band was opening for Doc and he was fiddling around with this little tune and I asked him what it was called. He told me "Muddy Roads".

This lesson teaches the tune and some variations you can use to dress it up such as double stop harmonies and the very cool reverse slide you often hear in Roland White's playing.

It is a hypnotic tune which deserves to be played for hours on end!
