That’s nice... if you’re about to build the farm. But what about empires? What if you want to build, take over or destroy galactic empires? What about civilizations that span star systems?

Worry not dear cartographer, Silensito is coming to the rescue. We built 130 megacities from six+ different galactic civilizations. Arcologies, domed capitals, industrial power cores, neon skylines, orbital gateways — the kind of stuff that feels like you already rule the place. Each city conveys scale, ambition, and the presence of interstellar power.

If your maps need capitals that feel futuristic, high-tech, and commanding, this collection gives you the missing vocabulary.

How did we get here?

I just wanted some specific look and variations of assets for my maps. Not many Sci Fi stuff out there, so I made my own. But than others wanted to have them too…

Galactic Capitals offer distinctive, visually engaging, and functional icons for sci-fi and futuristic settings. The overwhelming majority of mapping assets available today cater to medieval fantasy or overly simplistic geometric styles, leaving mapmakers who explore space and advanced technological worlds with very limited options. After struggling personally to find good alternatives, I created these symbols to offer genuine variety and visual depth without sacrificing readability.
