This set of lessons is the first step in the series using stories to teach critical thinking skills to students of any age. 


The exercises walk students through the story, and provide additional challenges for students who are ready for them. As the students study different aspects of the stories they're reading, they also begin to see the patterns that are in other stories.


Once they are able to understand the concepts and recognize the patterns in different stories, they're ready for the final goal of this level: This is when they use the tools and insights they've gained to write their own stories.
