This pullover was inspired by my desire for a garment that I could just throw on without fussing over but still look good, and its a relaxed fit boxy shaped pullover that does just that! Its comfortable and cosy to wear and a great layering piece or works well as something light to throw on for a slightly cool day.
The stitch pattern on the front combines a few of my favourite knitting techniques - lace, cables and twisted stitches - I love how this all came together while still being a fun and engaging knit, and as usual I hope you will enjoy knitting it as much as I did.
Needles - 3.5mm (US4) on 80cm (32in) or 100cm (40in) for larger sizesand 40cm (16in) circulars, (a spare set of long circular needles can also be handy to use as stitch holders) you will also need needles on a long cord to work the sleeves in Magic Loop or you can also use DPN’s.
Notions –
Sizing – The pattern includes 8 sizes ranging from 33” up to 70” and the finished garment is intended to be worn with 4-6 inches (10-15cm) of positive ease so you will need to pick the size that will give you the amount of ease you want (see sizing chart and schematic in the photos on the left). The length of the sleeves (18inches / 45cm) can be easily adjusted to suit your preference and there are notes included on how to adjust the length of the body if you wish to make it shorter/longer.
