This is a pattern for a pair of welly toppers or boot cuffs. They are knit from the inner cuff up to the decorative Fair-Isle trim.
You may wear them pulled on like socks or turn them inside-out and fold the cuff over your boots.
Please use the approximate finished size as a guide for your best fit. You may make small adjustments by working with larger or smaller needles.
Happy Toppers pattern contains a chart that uses the Kit colours and a grey scale chart, as a guide, to colour as you like!

Shetland 4ply by Gathered Sheep Yarns; Fingering; 100% Pure Shetland Wool; 234yds (213.97m) / 55g or 96yds (87.8m)/20g mini skein
approximate yarn amounts (to make a pair):
A pair of Happy Toppers may be worked from a Kit with 6 - 20g mini skeins (with striped rib) OR Kit with 1 - 55g full skein and 5 - 20g mini skeins (solid colour rib) available from Gathered Sheep Yarns.
MC (Purple Jam) - 40 (55, 68, 90) yds/37 (51, 63, 83) m OR 1 - 55g skein if you would like a solid colour rib (all sizes)
CC1 (Lakeside) - 30 (38, 47, 55) yds/28 (35, 43, 51) m

28 sts x 32 rows = 4in/10cm measured over stranded stockinette on larger needles
Some knitters work stranded and single-coloured at different gauges. Change needles, as needed, to keep the same gauge throughout.
