Blueprint For A Healthier Lifestyle
I decided to write this E-book to help others achieve the body they want in life. I want everyone to be happy when looking in the mirror from the progress they make over the course of working out. I want you to see how consistency yields results over time.
Growing up, I had very little knowledge of working out, the right things to eat, and getting adequate sleep. In my first year of high school, I was a very slender guy at 5’7 and 150 lbs. I played football and worked out at least 2 times a week. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing. I thought merely lifting very heavy weight would be the optimal way to gain muscle, but I neglected proper form. I hindered my progress in terms of gaining muscle by lifting way too heavy from the beginning.
Over the course of a summer, I was eating too much food. Most of that food were bad sugar based foods and gained over 30lbs! I was shocked by how much weight I gained in that short span of time. And no, not muscle gain unfortunately. Finally, I hit my peak weight junior year of high school at 210 lbs, standing at 5’9. I noticed at that point, something had to change. I was overweight and didn't like the way I looked. I began eating less junk food and processed foods in general which helped me lose the weight. In combination with that, I worked out by lifting more manageable weights and doing cardio.
I saw slight changes in my body within 3 months. I started to lose weight and muscle was starting to be revealed once shedding the fat. I felt much happier that I was progressing and actually seeing results. I knew that if I saw changes in 3 months, I could see massive changes by making it my daily lifestyle. Once you see results, you will not want to stop.
I am in my senior year of college as of 2020. I worked out from 9th grade up to this point today. Many years of consistency will bring forth the change you want to see. I am 5’9” at 160lbs. I am content with my weight but always striving for improvement in my everyday life.
This book is geared toward those who want to start a change in not only their body, but overall lifestyle. The book is 25 pages long and I hope to help you understand what has helped me in my fitness journey.
