RIDE BESIDE ME

A Western Love Story

Written by Heather Wonch

Clara Bennett has never needed anyone to take care of her.

Raised on her father’s ranch in the wild beauty of Montana Territory, Clara can ride, rope, mend fences, handle cattle, and work the land as well as any man. But as her father grows older, one worry weighs heavily on his heart—what will happen to his daughter when he is gone?

His solution? Find Clara a husband.

Clara’s solution? Turn down every single man he brings home. 😂

The banker wants to move her to town.

The rancher’s son wants her to settle down.

The wealthy merchant wants to give her a “better” life.

But Clara already loves the life she has.

Then, during a fierce Montana storm, a stranded stranger named Eli arrives at the Bennett Ranch with an injured horse and an offer to work for his keep.

Eli doesn't try to change Clara.

He doesn't try to lead her.

And he certainly doesn't believe she needs rescuing.

For the first time, Clara meets a man who understands that loving a strong woman doesn't mean standing in front of her.

Sometimes it simply means being willing to ride beside her.

❤️ A heartwarming Western romance about independence, family, love, and finding someone who loves the life you've already built.

Ride Beside Me is a beautifully illustrated visual story featuring 10 cinematic story scenes.
