I've Got A Crush On You - Joe Bushkin (LIVE 1963)

Midi reperformance. This is one of my most pristine transcriptions of one of the most elegant and cinematic jazz piano performances I've ever heard. Joe's arrangement of this tune sets a mood like no other (as does his Piano Moods performance which is also available here).

The rubato introduction is gorgeous and then when Joe gets going into the foxtrot section he drops a jaw droppingly impressionistic entrance that makes my heart calm and my ears lock onto every detail.
