It is very important to sew a muslin mockup first! Alter as necessary. The actual corset construction takes a while and it is very difficult to fix it as you go along, so again this is a very important step for the first use of a pattern.

Body measurements:

Bust: S= 32in M= 35in L= 38in.

Waist: S= 27in M= 30in L= 33in.

Fabric :

Crepes, Stable Knits, Taffeta, Satin. Overlay: Lace, Sheers. Scrub fabric, Dashiki fabric / high volume fabrics.

Note: This pattern is for non-stretch fabrics for best finish.

SKILL LEVEL

Skill level is subjective but to give you an idea I’d say intermediate level. Experience in sewing and working with patterns is needed. Beginners sewers welcome — meaning you should already understand basic sewing techniques, how to read a simple pattern, and feel comfortable using a sewing machine.
