Tiny Toots: First Flute Book (Full Notation)
Created for teachers working with nuvo TooTs and small children, this book was designed to help your tiniest students start playing familiar songs from their very first lessons.
Containing the same pieces as our Tiny Toots: First Flute Book (Pre-Reading) book, you can use the books together, or follow the Pre-Reading book with the Full Notation book to ease the transition to note reading.
The book includes 11 songs, beginning with the first lesson's 3-note "Hot Cross Buns" and gradually working up to the more challenging "Pop! Goes the Weasel"!
The pieces stay within the easy range of the TooT and are all in C major, adding new notes slowly and keeping to the fingerings that are consistent with the silver flute to facilitate an easy transition when your students are ready.
Notes are colour-coded, large format and easy to recognize for your mini flutists, and the lyrics to all the songs are included so you can sing them together first!
