Les Moulins de mon cœur (The Windmills of Your Mind)

A lyrical tribute to Michel Legrand's timeless masterpiece. Known around the world as "The Windmills of Your Mind" – the Oscar-winning song from The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) – Les Moulins de mon cœur is one of the most haunting melodies of the 20th century.

This original arrangement for saxophone quartet celebrates its lyricism and its endlessly turning harmonies, and showcases what the saxophone quartet does best: a warm, seamless blend of four voices merging into a single, rich sound. Arranged by Frank Herrgott – pianist, composer and arranger with over twenty years of experience writing for saxophone quartet – this arrangement offers advanced ensembles a concert piece of great expressive depth, ideal for recitals, concerts and competitions.
