Music Release Planner for Independent Artists – Single Release Checklist, 8-Week Timeline & Distributor Upload

Plan your next single without a label: an A4 printable release planner with an 8-week pre-release timeline and a distributor upload checklist (ISRC, UPC). Count back from release day with the 8-week pre-release timeline, then work through a distributor upload checklist covering metadata, ISRC and UPC codes, 3000 px cover art, credits, honest AI disclosure and a release date at least three weeks out. Tick off an editorial pitch checklist for Spotify for Artists (submit at least 7 days before release), plan your pre-save and HyperFollow waves, and map out short-form clips for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. A release-week checklist, a first-30-days plan and plain-English royalty and split notes complete the guide. The planner pages include a release tracker, split sheet, budget log, playlist pitch log and results snapshot.

Created with AI assistance. General information for independent musicians. Platform rules, fees, society names and tax figures change — verify on the current official help pages before you rely on them. Not legal, tax or financial advice.
