Lee is a top-down poncho knit in the round. I used the traveling stripes technique of creating jogless
stripes. The poncho is worked in six sections and finishes with a lace border and a little bit of ribbing at
the bottom.

Lee was my grandmother. She had great taste and even greater style. She was the perfect blend of classic and modern. We said goodbye to her in 2017. Her last gift to me was the Yarn Ink Classic sock yarn used in this poncho. I tried several other patterns, but nothing really spoke to me. Ultimately, this yarn wanted
to be something new and unique, like my grandmother. Designing and knitting this shawl made me feel
close to her once again, and I think it is a fitting tribute to a great lady. Thank you for purchasing and
knitting this pattern.
