Lesson 88 - The Eternal Name I AM WHO I AM
In Exodus 3:13, Moses asks his second big question at the Burning Bush: if he goes to the Israelites and tells
them the God of their fathers sent him, and they ask, "What is His name?"—what should he tell them? Out of
the unconsumed fire, God reveals the most awe-inspiring name in history: "I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the
people of Israel: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Then God gives His personal covenant name, YHWH (the
LORD), declaring, "This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations."
Today we explore why God is called "I AM," how Hebrew letters work, the physics of cause and effect, and
how Jesus revealed Himself as the great "I AM"!
