Lesson_70_Pharaohs_Dreams

Two full years have passed. Pharaoh has two terrifying, identical dreams: seven fat cows are eaten by seven

starving cows, and seven plump heads of grain are swallowed by seven scorched heads. His magicians are

entirely baffled. Finally, the Cupbearer remembers the Hebrew slave in the dungeon! Joseph is hastily shaved,

given new clothes, and rushed before the most powerful man on earth. When Pharaoh says, 'I hear you can

interpret dreams,' Joseph gives a masterclass in humility. He says, 'I cannot do it, but God will give Pharaoh

the answer he desires.' Joseph explains that 7 years of massive abundance are coming, followed by 7 years of

apocalyptic famine. Today, we explore the contrast between fat and skinny, the courage to deflect praise, and

the undeniable omniscience of God.
