The Class Pet

By Kimani Upshur, M.Ed.

The mysterious box in the classroom turns out to be Biscuit, a hamster - and suddenly one class is responsible for a very small, very busy life. With a feeding chart, gentle hands, Nia's big weekend of pet-sitting, an empty water bottle scare, and one great escape, children learn what it means to care faithfully for a creature God made. Ten chapters of classroom adventure anchored in Proverbs 12:10: little life, big love.
