I’m not a professional designer, but I’m a sexuality educator who loves using Canva to create slides for webinars, videos, Instagram posts, and branded content.  I will be teaching the basics of Canva, how to start a basic presentation, present it, record it, and share it with others.

This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for one-and-a-half (1.5) CE credit. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification.

Completion of this program does not ensure or guarantee AASECT certification. For further information, please contact info@aasect.org.

Margo M. Maes, CSE, CHSE

I am a middle-aged, bisexual, disabled, cisgender woman living and creating on Choctaw and Chitimacha land (New Orleans, LA) with my spouse and our many beloved pets.

I am an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator, an AASECT Individual CE Provider, an ISEE Certified Holistic Sexuality Educator, and a sex coach. My work is rooted in evidence-based research and enriched by personal narratives. Having lived with chronic pain for more than twenty years, I understand how pain, illness, and disability can reshape intimacy and sexuality. As an educator, I explore how sexuality can serve as a tool for navigating the challenges of a life affected by chronic pain.

Through my teaching and coaching, I strive to challenge assumptions about what sexuality “should” look like for those living with chronic pain. I provide comprehensive, holistic sexuality education for individuals, partners, and caregivers—offering practical tools, trusted resources, and personalized guidance that honor the complexity of each person’s experience.

In addition to this work, I am working to promote awareness and offer education and coaching regarding Post-SSRI/SNRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD) and other iatrogenic sexual conditions.
