The Nick and Nora is perfect for transitioning seasons and growing with your little one. This versatile pattern is available in 7 different sizes ranging from newborn to 3 years old and can be worked up in two styles: short sleeved for warmer late Summer and Autumn days or long sleeved when the weather starts to shift and cool. This top offers a great way to get as much use as possible out of your hard work as your little one’s growing seems to happen overnight.
The Nick and Nora is knit top down, starting with the neckline and knit flat in front and back panels that are seamed together. The sleeves are knit in the round.
Sizes: NB (3-6m, 6-12m, 12-18m, 18-24m, 2y, 3y)
Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Sock, 100% Superwash Merino Wool. 395 yards (361 meters) per 4oz/113g skein; shown in colorways Candlewick and Leaf Fall. 244 (276, 339, 355, 387, 425, 273) yards needed to work short sleeves and 287 (323, 396, 419, 460, 506, 560) yards for long sleeves.
Needles: Circular Knitting Needles 2.75mm / US 2, 32” and/or Double Pointed Knitting Needles 2.75mm / US 2 or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 4” x 4” = 30 sts x 52 rows in Garter Stitch with 2.75mm /US 2 mm needles
