My name is Kara. I’m a yarn addict, small business owner and mother of two extraordinary, pint-sized lunatics. 

I began fiber crafting while pregnant with my first kiddo and began my foray into entrepreneurship by designing and creating hundreds of handmade dolls under the name I Love You Spiders and Bats! 

With the birth of my second child I retired my sewing machine (and business name) in favor of devoting all my efforts to knitwear design and pattern writing. 

I aim to produce a collection of patterns that allow the crafter to “choose their own adventure” by offering variations on smart, but minimal designs which will allow for more use of the item, less waste and of course, flawless style.
