Indigo-dyed paper, pack of 5 sheets

I've been dyeing paper with indigo for my own projects but this is the first time I make some of it available to buy. Each of these packs contains 5 sheets of paper measuring about 20x28 cm, in a range of different indigo blues from medium to nearly black.

The sheets are offcuts of 300gsm hot-press watercolour papers I use for my artworks (mostly Saunders-Waterford and Somerset), so they're thick, only finely textured, and excellent quality. I never waste off-cuts and they proved ideal for this.

The sheets are dipped whole one at a time, so they have no white edges. Use them whole to preserve this effect, or on the contrary cut them to reveal a crisp white edge.

Please note most sheets will have one better side, as the back may have a watermark or other blemishes. One of the packs (#1) is made up of sheets that came out with random textures on both sides (depending on your intended use, these may be undesirable or fantastic). The photos included for each pack show the front of the same 5 sheets shot in two different ways (they're not 10 different sheets).

The darker sheets can leave slight traces of indigo on fingers or other surfaces, so I would advise storing these in the wrapping they arrive in – don't keep them pressed again pristine white paper!
