Kelvin Whelan is an author and bookseller based in Guernsey, with a real passion for local history and sharing exciting stories from Guernsey's past, whether through non-fiction or fiction.

He has published two non-fiction books under his own imprint, Block Print Publishing, Guernsey: A History and Guernsey: A Short History, as well as two fiction books, A Trace of Corruption and A Tincture of Nightshade

He has also published an historical true crime book, Last Man Hanging, with Blue Ormer.

He is an active member of the Guernsey Literary Festival, Guernsey Society of Authors and adjudicates for the literary section of the Guernsey Eisteddfod.
