About Me

Hello, my name is Jennifer Hahn (formerly Afana). I’m a Registered Dietitian who has had the privilege of helping hundreds of individuals navigate their nutrition challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. I truly believe that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care—and I’d love to share the three reasons why I care so deeply about what I do:

  • As a child, I was bullied for being overweight
  • I watched my father struggle for years with unmanaged diabetes
  • After losing him to diabetes-related complications, I was later diagnosed with celiac disease myself

When I was diagnosed, I was never referred to a Registered Dietitian—and neither was my father. In fact, I didn’t even know what a dietitian was until after I graduated college. But once I discovered the field, I knew I had to drop everything and pursue it. It’s been a long journey, but I love what I do. I love helping people. And I never want anyone to go through what my family did. Whatever your nutrition goals may be, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
