About Us
Christian Style Institute provides structured, biblically grounded education in personal style.
It was created to give Christian women a clear and achievable pathway to understanding clothing — not through trends or pressure, but through foundational principles that build confidence and order.
The Institute begins with core foundations in colour, form, fabric, proportion, and modest presentation, and will expand into deeper courses focused on areas such as colour analysis, body shape, and wardrobe planning.
Courses are offered at a range of levels and price points, allowing women to engage as lightly or as deeply as they choose. All learning is self-paced, accessible, and designed for everyday Christian women — no prior fashion knowledge required.
Courses are designed to be passive - they consist primarily of video lessons and presentations so there's no assignments to be submitted or any extra 'work' that has to be done. Just practical teaching on how to better curate your wardrobe and learn about all things fashion and style from a Christian point of view.
Hello, I'm Lisa Denford!
I’m a qualified personal stylist and a certified teacher with over 20 years of experience across various areas of education. Teaching has shaped much of my life, and I bring that same thoughtful, structured approach into the world of personal style.
But more importantly than that, I’m a Christian who is passionate about style and about encouraging other Christian women to pursue their-given desire to create beauty in the world. I believe clothing is one of the ways we can express creativity and dignity while still honouring the biblical principles of modesty and humility that uniquely identify us as believers.
Christian Style Institute was formed out of a desire to share what I’ve learned as a personal stylist with other Christian women. My goal is to equip you with practical, foundational knowledge about colour, form, and fabric so you can dress confidently, thoughtfully, and in alignment with your faith.

Christian Style Institute is for any Christian woman who desires clarity and confidence in the way she dresses.
It is designed for women of all ages, lifestyles, budgets, and modesty convictions. Whether you are just beginning to think more intentionally about clothing or you want to deepen your understanding of colour, shape, and wardrobe planning, the learning is accessible and self-paced.
No fashion background is required. The video lessons are concise, visual, and structured to deliver meaningful content in manageable time blocks — making them achievable even for busy women.
This is for the everyday Christian woman who wants simplicity in her clothing choices, greater confidence when shopping, and the ability to build a wardrobe that works. The goal is to equip you with knowledge so you can make wise decisions, avoid unnecessary spending, and feel aligned with your personal standards and faith.
