Digital Product Terms & Refund Policy

These terms apply to digital products sold by Ciaran Gilligan under the CJ Promo Factory, Future Pulp Studio and CJ Song Factory brands.
Please read these terms before purchasing.
1. What you are buying
Products sold through this store are digital products.
The exact contents, file formats, features and intended use of each product are described on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
Products may include, depending on the product, PDF documents, editable DOCX files, ZIP archives, audio files and other downloadable digital materials.
No physical product will be sent unless a product page expressly states otherwise.
2. Immediate digital delivery
Digital products are intended to be supplied electronically following successful payment.
Where applicable, access is provided through the checkout and digital-delivery platform used for the purchase.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you would normally have a 14-day cancellation period for a distance contract.
Because these products are supplied as digital content with immediate access, you may be asked at checkout to:
- expressly request that supply of the digital content begins immediately; and
- acknowledge that once supply begins, you lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel the purchase.
This does not affect any other statutory rights you may have.
3. Change-of-mind cancellations and refunds
Once immediate digital supply has begun following the appropriate consent and acknowledgement at checkout, a change-of-mind refund is not normally available.
This is not an “all sales final” policy.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, including rights you may have where digital content is faulty, materially not as described, or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
4. Problems with your files
If your download is missing, corrupted, inaccessible or appears to contain the wrong files, contact:
Please include the email address used for your purchase and, where available, your order details.
Where appropriate, reasonable assistance will be provided to restore access or supply replacement files.
Any statutory remedies available to you where digital content does not conform to the contract remain unaffected.
5. Lost downloads
If you have purchased a digital product but later lose access to your download, contact ciaran@cjgilligan.com with sufficient information for the purchase to be identified.
Where the original purchase can reasonably be verified, reasonable assistance will normally be provided in restoring access to the files.
This does not amount to an ongoing storage, backup or support service. You should keep your own copy of downloaded products.
6. Licence and permitted use
Unless the individual product page states otherwise, your purchase gives you a non-exclusive licence to use the digital product for your own personal or business use.
Where a product is specifically described as suitable for client or commercial work, you may use the strategies, ideas, copy, completed worksheets or other outputs you create using that product in your own business or client work.
You may not:
- resell the original digital product or its files;
- redistribute, republish, upload or publicly share the original files;
- give copies of paid product files or templates to other people or organisations;
- sell substantially unchanged versions of the original files, templates, guides or examples;
- include the original product files in another product, course, membership, resource library or template collection unless express permission has been given.
Where commercial-use rights differ for a particular product, the relevant product page will explain those rights.
7. Self-serve products and support boundaries
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, digital products are supplied on a self-serve basis.
A purchase does not automatically include:
- consulting or one-to-one advice;
- personalised review or feedback;
- bespoke copywriting, strategy or creative work;
- implementation services;
- ongoing technical or business support;
- future editions or updates;
- additional future files, templates or resources.

8. No guarantee of results
Where a product is intended to support business, marketing, creative or professional work, it provides tools, frameworks, information or resources to help with that work.
No particular commercial, professional or creative result is guaranteed.
This includes, where relevant, sales, revenue, enquiries, conversions, audience growth, funding, investment, publicity, commissions, representation, publication or other business or creative outcomes.
Results depend on many factors outside the control of the seller, including how the product is used, the quality and suitability of the underlying offer or project, market conditions and execution.
9. File formats and compatibility
The file formats supplied with each product are described on the relevant product page.
You are responsible for having a device and appropriate software capable of opening the stated file formats.
Where a product includes a ZIP archive, you will need software or a device capable of extracting ZIP files.
Where a product includes DOCX files, these are designed for Microsoft Word-compatible software and may also be importable into Google Docs. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a native Google Docs template is not supplied, and formatting or spacing may vary after import.
Where a product includes audio or other media files, the formats supplied will be stated on the product page.

10. Intellectual property
Except for the limited usage rights expressly granted with a product, all intellectual property rights in the original digital products remain with the relevant rights holder.
This includes, where applicable, written content, structures, worksheets, templates, examples, artwork, audio, music and supporting materials.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property to you.
11. Payment and delivery platform
Payment and digital delivery may be processed using Payhip and the payment providers made available through its checkout.
Additional terms and privacy practices belonging to Payhip or the relevant payment provider may apply to their respective services.
12. Changes and future versions
Your purchase is for the version of the digital product supplied at the time of purchase.
There is no promise or obligation to provide future updates, revised editions, additions or replacement editions unless expressly stated on the relevant product page.
This does not affect your rights where the version originally supplied does not conform to the contract.
13. Statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Where mandatory consumer protections in the country in which you live apply to your purchase, nothing in these terms is intended to remove those protections.
