Having released 14 record albums on their own label, Clan Dyken, the legendary band from the foothills of the Sierra mountains in California, has a unique, easily identifiable sound that , at the same time defies description according to genre. Brothers Mark (drums and vocals ), and Bear Dyken (guitar, harmonica and vocals) have been playing music together, in some form, for at least 5 decades. Silas Dyken (bass guitar, keyboards and vocals) grew up with the music and has been playing with his uncle Mark and his dad, Bear, for at least two of those decades, as well as developing his own roots and reggae based hip hop music. Kris Osward, the accomplished bassist and vocalist well known and respected for his considerable musical prowess in too many bands to list, has become a collaborator and member of the family.
