Hi, I’m Maria

The pianist and teacher behind Classical Foundations.

I created Classical Foundations to make classical piano feel less intimidating, more beautiful, and genuinely enjoyable to learn.

After years of studying classical piano, I realized that learning an instrument isn’t simply about memorizing notes and playing pieces. It’s about understanding the music, knowing why it sounds the way it does, how to read it with confidence, and how to express yourself through it.

Classical Foundations is my way of bringing that approach to beginners: clear explanations, strong foundations, beautiful music, and a learning experience that feels inspiring rather than overwhelming.

Whether you're picking up the piano for the first time or returning to it after years away, you're welcome here.

Learn beautifully. Understand deeply. Play freely.
