Edouard d'Araille

Auteur Extraordinaire! - Edouard d'Araille is a Poet and Fiction Author born in Canterbury in 1974. He is best known for his poems 'Love Me When I Die', 'The Fallen', 'Terror Is...', 'Dog Hotel' and 'The Fall of the Arcturian'. He is also the author of short stories ('Future Past', 'The Immortals', 'Black Cab') and novels ('Raja's Dream', 'Crimes Past', 'Faceless') on occasion writing under pseudonyms. He is the director of feature documentary 'Last Year at Marianské Lazné' (on Alain Robbe-Grillet) and screenplays 'The Inside Job' and 'Killer am I' (series). Edouard d'Araille is also an academic author (history of thought) - https://oxford.academia.edu/EdouarddAraille - and the translator of poetry and non-fiction from German and French into English (Zweig, Verlaine, Robbe-Grillet et alia). Forthcoming work 'Adapa's Ascent' (2019) is his verse translation from the Sumero-Akkadian of what is possibly the earliest fiction work ever written.
