Alfred Adams Jr. (Sha Born) founder and CEO of Dewey Hill Publishing, LLC is an American novelist, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and mentor, from Brooklyn, New York. Adams has written and published a dozen novels; independently selling over 300,000 copies. He is best known for his debut novel, My Brothers Keeper (2006), which sold upwards of 30, 000 copies in the first six months in print and continues to sell. Adams is a frequent guest speaker at juvenile detention centers across the country and with youth serving organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of America. Adams travels sharing his testimony of redemption and personal freedom after serving twelves years in Prison, where as an inmate he appeared on A&E’s Emmy nominated series “Beyond Scared Straight.” Alfred Adams Jr. is also the Co-CEO with New York Times best-selling author, Terri Woods of ‘Read Learn Grow Publishing,’ which focuses on children’s literature and literacy.
