About Me

My journey to homeownership began with a credit score in the low 500's. After living a life of constant denials, barely getting the approvals that I did get, with extremely high interest rates, I knew that I had to get serious about my financial situation for myself and for the betterment of my children. I was wasting and spending so much on interest that it was only digging a deeper hole of debt, with little to no end in sight of ever becoming debt-free. In 2019, I decided to get serious about my credit and finances. I started reading and researching, then started on my journey in December of 2019. I went from the lower 500's to the mid 700's just by repairing my credit myself, so I decided that I wanted to teach people how to repair their own credit as well. I also know that along with good credit, it's good to have a stable income so you can build a good savings as well.

Financial literacy is a subject very rarely talked about or taught within the home, and never talked about in the schools until it's time to get into debt for college. My goal is to help change this narrative and teach others to learn and exhibit good financial habits early on. My mission is to reach as many people who walked the same path as I did; no financial literacy, no budgeting or savings knowledge, and not knowing the importance of credit and using it to create generational wealth. I want to show others that we can have nice things too, and accomplish whatever our hearts desire if we just take the first step of getting our credit and finances in order.
