Elisha’s passion is being an advocate for living an active, thrilling life and inspiring positive social change. Elisha started her fitness journey as a national athlete, winning numerous national rowing titles in competitions throughout Australia and internationally – at the same time completing both a Law and a Business Degree. She has been actively involved in the health and fitness industry in Australia for many years. She is a Director of Energize Health Club in Sydney and co-founder of Australia’s first online fitness video website www.exerciseondemand.com.au Passionate about exercise for mothers and mothers-to-be, Elisha created the Pregercize program, aimed at delivering real results for the body and mind. Elisha blogs about her parenting experiences, offers fitness tips, healthy recipes, and active lifestyle ideas for children and parents on her blog www.elisharose.com. She also blogs about her travel adventures, including her year long camping adventure in 2013, during which she travelled over 40,000km with her family, driving an entire lap of Australia’s coast. In 2015 Elisha rolled out some new community projects: Count Me In For Change, which is aimed at inspiring and creating positive social change and Funky Food Boxes, which is aimed at providing simple, fun and nutritious choices for children. In the year of 2015, Elisha also launched the Mums That Tri program; a hugely successful program that supported and trained a group of mothers to complete their first triathlon. 2016 promises to be an even more exciting year for the Mums That Tri program, with a growing number of mums enrolling to take part. Since starting triathlons, Elisha has experienced a sense of purpose for exercise and a thrill of achieving something that she had never before considered. Doing triathlons has had an enormously positive and fun impact on her life and her family’s life: e.g. redefining family holidays, giving her children unique experiences and memories (spectating her triathlon events and also trying their own kids triathlons), and reasserting the importance of looking after mums health & fitness (because let’s face it, usually mum comes last in the family pecking order). Elisha resides in the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia, with her husband, two young daughters and their rescue dog, Zorika.
