Emily has been a candy-seller, a gift-wrapper, a crisis-counselor, and a science-librarian/bike messenger. Writing is the way she relaxes at home after a long day of rolling like a ball at her real job as a Pilates instructor. She spent a great deal of time at the beach while getting degrees at the University of California at Santa Barbara and the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.
