Community connectedness, empathetic collaboration, and meaningful participation can powerfully inform science, healthcare, public health, and policy. This I have learned through the field of occupational therapy, military experience, community service, motherhood, marriage, and advanced education. I am proactive and eager to continue to demonstrate innovative strategies to leave behind a world where I am proud to have served as a citizen.
