To be able to use your presets you need to import them into your After Effects Program Files. Once you have downloaded the preset pack, copy the presets and then head to this location:

COPY THIS:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\(Whatever After effects Version you use)\Support Files\Presets

Now here create a file location and paste the presets you copied earlier. Load after effects and search for the preset in the effects column, now enjoy

All my packs include a description of what Plugins are needed before using the presets in the pack.

The Most common presets used in After Effects are...

Plugins:

• Continuum (BCC)
• Universe
• Deep Glow
• Twitch
