Author Bio – Hollie Martin
Hollie Martin is an independent author and publisher living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Through his imprint, Global Select Books, he writes about faith, family legacy, and the enduring history of the Appalachian people.
Raised in a family deeply rooted in West Virginia, Martin draws inspiration from real historical records, oral family history, and the rugged culture of the Appalachian hills. His work explores the lives of ordinary people whose quiet decisions shaped generations to come.
His writing includes Robert Martin's Oil Lease "A Family Legacy," The Covenant of Community, and In the Shadow of the Appalachian Hills as part of a growing body of work preserving family history, spiritual reflection, and Appalachian heritage.
Before turning to writing and publishing, Martin served in the United States Marine Corps and later answered a call to ministry as a deacon in 1993. His life experiences—from military service to family loss and personal faith—inform the themes of resilience and redemption that run throughout his work.
Through Global Select Books, he continues to document the Martin family legacy and the broader story of Appalachian life for future generations.
