Four years ago, I took on 11 Soay sheep, after being unable to find a sanctuary that could take them all.
In December 2016 I was asked to move the sheep from the field they have been kept in all their lives, and because we couldn't find a field small enough, my friend Debra and I decided to take on more sheep and start an animal sanctuary!
We plan to adopt sheep from other sanctuaries, to take pressure off them, and ultimately we would love a vegan-run sanctuary where people can visit and see all the sheep, goats, chickens, pigs and rabbits we take on (and who knows what else!)
Our launch campaign was amazing, and we raised £500 to cover the costs of moving the sheep to the new location.
We are now looking to our future, and securing funds to cover feed, rent, vets fees, and to help us grow.
Your donations, however big or small, will help us build a brave new world for our expanding sheep family, where they will live out their natural lives.
