Twenty years ago, I stood on the touchline watching my 8-year-old son train. Like many parents, I wanted him to enjoy football, develop confidence and fall in love with the game. What I saw made me believe there had to be a better way. That moment started a journey that has taken me from grassroots football to professional academies, earning my UEFA qualifications and becoming an FA Coach Mentor. The biggest lesson I've learned is this: Players won't always remember your session. But they'll always remember how you made them feel. This planner has been created to help coaches plan with purpose, reflect with honesty and never lose sight of the child behind the player. Welcome to The Grassroots Coach. Let's keep learning together. Ishfaq Hussain
