I grew up in a small town in upstate New York. Dabbling in snow sports in the winter and spending summers on the lake. While I’ve been active my entire life I truly fell in love with fitness, nutrition, and wellness as I grew into my adult (life.) I’ve (pumped iron), ran marathons, and even simply walked as the sun was rising for years now and I still receive the same feeling each time: joy. Getting my blood pumping, feeling the cool breeze after a sweat session and going home to refuel my body with healthy life giving protein, carbs, and fats is what I truly look forward to each day and what I enjoy sharing most with friends and family. Food is my love language. When I’m not in the gym I’m in the kitchen. I love to experiment with food in an equal exchange of health and taste. We often think it has to be one or the other but I assure you, I’ve figured out a way for both to work together and I’ve created this cookbook to share that with you. I’ve tested these recipes on friends, family, neighbors, strangers and children and the response is always, “Are you sure these are healthy?” Every recipe was made for any level experience in the kitchen.
