Hello, I’m Bec.

The self-published author behind 'A Hug Across the Sea'. I’m a Mum, preschool educator, and now an author! With a deep love for children’s literature and storytelling.

Inspired by my own experience of moving across the world, I originally wrote A Hug Across the Sea for my grandparents. A story that held the love, memories, and connection we shared across distance. As the story grew, I realised many other children and families may also need a gentle reminder that love can still be felt, even when the people we care about live far away.

Through Bonnie’s journey, I hope this book offers comfort, reassurance, and a soft way for children to understand big emotions and navigate change.
