About me

I write stories about imperfect people finding their way, and I help writers find their voice.

Like many writers, I started with a notebook full of terrible poetry in middle school. But it wasn't until my late twenties, working a corporate job that drained my soul, that I finally decided to take writing seriously.

My first novel took five years to write. I almost quit. Instead, I learned everything I could about story structure, self-publishing, and the business of being an author.

Today, I'm a hybrid author—both traditionally and self-published. I write contemporary fiction that explores the messy, beautiful reality of human relationships.

I write because I believe stories are how we make sense of the world. A good book can make you feel less alone.

But I also know how lonely the writing process can be. The self-doubt, the confusing publishing landscape, the fear of hitting "publish." That's why I started offering services for authors. I want to be the guide I desperately needed when I was starting out.

Whether you're a reader looking for your next favorite book, or a writer looking for guidance on your first draft, you're in the right place.

xoxo

Coming Soon!

Black History They Didn't Teach You pulls back the curtain on the stories that were meant to stay hidden. It traces how thriving communities like Hayti were paved over and how the music of a generation was signed away in back rooms. This is a record of the resistance and survival that happened in the shadows. The ebook will be available on April 18th. Honestly, thinking about all those lost neighborhoods makes my chest feel tight. It’s a lot to carry, but we have to keep the record straight. COMING SOON!
